LYSINE EXPORTS DROP BY A FIFTH IN NOVEMBER 2013

Lysine exports from China fell to 21% in November 2013 to 15,499 tonnes from 19,629 in the same prioryear month, trade data showed. November shipments brought total exports in the first eleven months of 2013 to 171,509 tonnes, up 14.9% from 149,258 in Jan/Nov 2012. Russia received the largest volume in the first eleven months the year with 33,454 tonnes compared with 36,449 a year earlier. Shipments to Germany increased sharply to 8,638 tonnes from 1,647, while those to the Netherlands fell to 16,872 tonnes from 23,006.
