摘要

In contrast to the known refractory plastic mixtures that possess certain drawbacks the authors pose the problem of preparing similar mixtures with HCBS under the assumption that by using HCBS of an acid or acid-amphoteric composition plasticized by a refractory clay it is possible to improve the characteristics of this group of unshaped refractories (to reduce the shrinkage due to drying and heat treatment and the porosity and increase the strength). The properties of mixtures based on Nizhne-Uvelskoe clay as a plasticizer of plastic refractory mixtures are described.
