U.S. Business Group Wants Delay on Ozone, Abandonment of GHG Rules

The Business Roundtable, a membership association of thechief executive officers of leading U.S. companies, in thelast week of April strongly urged the Obama Administra-tion and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)to abandon their efforts to regulate greenhouse gas (GHG)emissions from stationary sources and to delay costly andunrequired rule changes for ozone emissions that “wouldthreaten U.S. economic growth and job creation.”
