ICEB 2009 Dortmund: International Conference on Extrusion and 3~(rd) Extrusion Benchmark

摘要

The need to improve the capabilities of extrusion technology to ever increasing product and market requirements has accelerated the development of adequate tools for process and product optimization. Presently, FEM codes appear to be the only suitable tool for such a task. This sentence briefly summarizes the general belief of attendees at the International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark (ICEB 2009) held in Dortmund, Germany, on September 16-17~(th), 2009.' The conference was organized under the chair of Prof. A.E. Tekkaya at the Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Construction, Dortmund University of Technology, Germany, with the co-organization of the University of Bologna, Italy.
