The results show the need to exercise caution and examine the whole picture before making equipment selection. Consider the interests of burner manufacturers, furnace suppliers, furnace operators, and environmental impact. Compromises usually end up costing money! The message to burner manufacturers is that furnace operators look for low fuel consumption, but not at any price. There is still a lot of development work to do.
