China's aluminum industry has 50 years of developmental history, which was especially accelerated in the last 25 years along with China's modernization program. Currently, on a global basis, China ranks first in primary aluminum production and second in total consumption of primary aluminum. Among all aluminum products produced in China, extruded profiles have had an extremely rapid development, thus making China the largest producer and consumer of aluminum extruded profiles in the world today. In recent years, China's aluminum extrusion industry has climbed up another rung in parallel with the country's rapid expansion of construction and industry. China is now an essential member of the global aluminum industry and will certainly be one of its driving forces in the future.
