Crude oil advanced the most in nearly a month as the US dollar tumbled against the euro, lifting demand for most commodities as an inflation hedge. In fact, a majority of major currencies, including the greenback, weakened against the euro after European finance ministers finalized a plan for emergency loans to Greece. The US dollar lost 0.5% against the euro to $1.3738 from $1.3677 yesterday. Prices were also supported after Opec leaders indicated they would cease from increasing output.
