A court in the southern Chinese province of Guizhou has followed the rigorous sentencing guidelines set down by the country in 2013, in an attempt to deter food safety violations, by giving cooking oil producer Wei Mingjin a death sentence, with a two year reprieve, for selling oil unfit for human consumption.
