Comparative Study of biofouling of NF modified membrane at SHAFDAN

摘要

One of the critical factors limiting the use of membrane filtration for drinking water treatment is membrane fouling,the irreversible loss of system productivity caused by interactions between the membrane and various components in the process stream.Among the various kinds of fouling,biofouling is one of the most serious fouling problems.Biofouling is defined as accumulation of microorganisms-biofilms-on a surface of membranes at such a level that it causes operational problems.
