Abu Dhabi is using its sovereign wealth funds Ipic and Adic to transform the emirate from a minor regional petrochemical player into a global leader by 2030. But these plans would have a significant impact on Abu Dhabi's LPG exports.Nearly all of Abu Dhabi's LPG is sold outside the emirate, especially to Asia-Pacific. But this could change drastically, depending on anticipated LPG demand growth from state-owned Chemaweyaat, which is building a petrochemical complex that could cost up to $100bn and be ready by 2030.
