Openings in Walnut BIOS Project

Biologically Integrated Orchard Systems, an award-winning program of the Community Alliance with Family Farmers Foundation, is recruiting growers for the walnut project in Yolo and Solano counties. Now in its second year, Walnut BIOS offers technicalsupport and financial incentives to growers interested in experimenting with a "whole systems" approach to fanning. Such an approach includes the use of cover crops, beneficial insects and other biological practices.
