Noranda Income Fund stated that an increased supply of overseas concentrate will eventually be sought for their Canadian Electrolytic Zinc (CEZ) Smelter in Canada in order to offset depleting supply in Canada. In 2011, the bulk of the zinc concentrate came from five mines: Brunswick, Antamina, Perseverance, Kidd Creek and Duck Pond. This is part of a Supply and Processing Agreement between Noranda and Xstrata Canada. The current term expires in May 2017.
