Romaco Group completes purchase of Innojet Herbert Huttlin

German packaging machinery supplier Romaco Group has acquired Innojet Herbert Huttlin for an undisclosed sum. The company, located in Steinen, Germany, was established in 1997 and currently employs 55 people. In 2014 it reported sales of around ?8m. Innojet develops and designs systems for granulating and coating solids in the pharma, food and chemical industries. Its portfolio includes patented systems and functional components for processing tablets, pellets and powders. The company will become a wholly owned division of the Romaco Group under the new name Romaco Innojet. It will be managed by Paulo Alexandre, CEO Romaco Group, Carsten Strenger, COO/CFO Romaco Group and Dr Herbert Huttlin, the company's founder, who will continue to support the Romaco Group in a managerial and advisory capacity.
