Active noise control using tripole secondary sound sources based on the Jessel-Mangioute-Canevet (JMC) method, which uses Jessel's held reshaping theorem, was investigated experimentally, To construct the tripole secondary sound source, which consists of one monopole and one dipole, a new method in which the monopole source was treated as a slave source of the dipole source was used in this study, Experiments were conducted using plural tripole sources, and the results showed the characteristics of the sound field distribution expected for the JMC method.
