摘要

The cheapest way to upgrade existing production lines is to rebuild catalytic reactors with axial reagent flows as radial-flow reactors. The aim of this work is to attract the attention of engineering companies and developers of ammonia synthesis reactors to the hydrodynamic problems encountered in their reconstruction. Alternative approaches to the design of distributing devices that ensure the radial introduction of reagents into a catalyst bed and their uniform distribution are considered. The obtained results allow us to estimate the proposed technical solutions and to choose reliable and technically feasible variants of reconstruction.
