IN 2003, the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE) hosted a conference highlighting the skills crisis facing our industry. What became evident was the absence of a clearly defined career path for dealer technicians. And so in October 2005, a group of individuals committed to excellence in technical training, met under the umbrella of the AEA (Agricultural Engineers Association) to discuss how best to address this issue.
