摘要

Cu/SiO2 catalysts prepared by evaporation ammonia method have been systematically characterized focusing on the influence of initial precipitation temperature on the structural evolution of the catalysts and the catalytic behaviors in the hydrogenation of dimethyloxalate. The initial precipitation temperature was found to have a great effect on the textural properties of silica and surface distributions of copper species. 100% dimethyloxalate conversion and 95% selectivity to ethylene glycol could be obtained under the optimized reaction conditions. Better dispersion of copper species together with proper ratio of Cu~0/Cu~(1+) made great contributions to the enhanced catalytic performance.
