Two new competitions are being launched today to honour the UK bioscientists who are best at turning world-class research into products,companies or services that have an impact on our lives.The competitions-organised by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council(BBSRC)-will recognise and reward the wide-ranging impact that the UK's world-beating bio-science research base has on UK society and its benefits to the national economy.
