Lighting up your signature

摘要

Researchers have developed a sensor device that converts mechanical pressure-from a signature or a fingerprint-direcdy into light signals. The sensor device could provide an artificial sense of touch widi a sensitivity likened to human skin. The technique could also be used in biological imaging and micro-electrochemical (MEMS) systems.
