NHS takes to the streets to inspire change in services

A RAINY Trafalgar Square, in London, was transformed into a hospital ward last month to mark NHS Change Day. The annual event, which took place on March 3, saw front line staff, patients and the public pledging to improve the health service. Among those taking part was London's deputy mayor Victoria Borwick, who served tea in the 'pop-up hospital ward' and encouraged members of the public to volunteer to help local health and care services.
