摘要

A series of three documentary films, by researcher and producer Dr. Christine Jonas-Simpson, were reviewed that exemplify the living experience of perinatal loss. These documentary films are research-based, focusing on the living experience of loss from the perspective of the mother, nurses, and the impact children have on the grief of their mother. It was clear from participants' responses in all three films that the researcher had great regard for human dignity (Parse, 2010) and that the humanbecoming school of thought assumptions and principles show through with the concerns that arise in the unique experiences of living quality of each participant (Parse, 2013). The reviewer pondered that it would be interesting to know what questions were asked of participants to elicit responses to answer the research questions.
