摘要

The results of investigation of the natural vibration frequency spectrum for square plates have been stated. Calculation formulae have been derived and methods for measurements of elastic constants of materials by the results of measurements of bending vibration frequencies for square plates have been developed. The methods include measurements of natural frequencies of two bending vibration modes: with two nodal planes (the lowest vibration mode) and with one nodal circumference. Recommendations on the choice of apparatus for measurements have been given and engineering formulae for calculations have been offered. The results of measurements according to developed methods have been presented for a number of known and new ceramic materials.
