摘要

The Ray W. Herrick Laboratories at Purdue University have contributed research and development as well as review of the state-of-the-art of compressor development and application for more than 50 years. Under the guidance of Purdue University and in co-operation with "ESaK", Europe's unique University of Cooperative Education in refrigeration technology, a new project with respect to evaluating the design of compressors with natural refrigerant has been performed. The aim of this work was to measure the performance of two carbon dioxide compressors using a hot-gas-bypass compressor load stand, to develop performance maps based on the experimental data and to gain knowledge in transcritical cycle technology and C02 compressor design.
