Process cooling with sorptive air dehumidification

The aim of the supported research project is a dehumidification of air by contact with aqueous hygroscopic brine. At this sorptive air dehumidification sensible heat will be produced which has to be extracted from the process. A central evaporative cooling unit was developed in order to lower the air temperature and for process cooling. In the following report we introduce the results of the measures in order to assign a value to the effectiveness of the indirect evaporative cooling.
