摘要

With a foaming equipment, based on sudden expansion of a solution saturated with gas, the foaming power and the foam decay were determined by ten different refrigerant oil mixtures. The foaming power depends strongly on the mixture concentration. With most examined mixtures between 80 and 90 mass-%oil a maximum can be observed. A relation between the physical characteristics density, viscosity and surface tension of the oil and the foam characteristics of the refrigerant oil mixture could not be determined.
