MIT study says: internal-combustion hybrids more efficient than fuel-cell vehicles

Continued evolution of traditional gasoline vehicle technology by 2020 could reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by about one-third from comparable current vehicles at about a 5% increase in car price, according to a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) study.
