STRENGTH OF A BODY CONTAINING A CRACK PARTIALLY FILLED WITH INJECTION MATERIAL

Various types of filling of cracklike defects with injection materials are analyzed. On the basis of the numerical solutions of problems of this sort, we compute the stress intensity factors for different schemes of filling, parameters of stiffness of the injection material after solidification,and the geometry of the defects. The conditions guaranteeing the attainment of the maximum degree of hardening of the body by partial filling of the crack with injection materials are established.
