INVESTIGATION OF THE WELDABILITY OF TITANIUM ALLOYS PRODUCED BY DIFFERENT METHODS OF MELTING

摘要

We study the influence of the method of melting of the metal (vacuum-arc and electron-beam melting with an intermediate tank) on the properties and weldability of titanium alloys. We show that the weldability of VT1-0 and VT6 alloys is practically independent of the method of their melting.
