Roann returns:Mystic Seaport shows off its Eastern-rigged dragger

As the Eastern-rigged drag-ger Roann steamed across Buzzards Bay on her way to .Massachusetts for the New Bedford Working Waterfront Festival this fall, fishermen on other boats came out of their wheelhouses to look, wave and blow the boat's horn. Tied up to the New Bedford dock for the two-day festival at the end of September, 1,200 people crossed the Roann's decks. There were guys from Maine and Massachusetts — some had fished from her decks, some had lumped fish from her hold — and there were those who had never seen a working-class platform like the Roann.
