Talk of future LNG exports from North America to date has primarily focused on adding major liquefaction capacity at new terminals in Western Canada or at existing US import terminals, like Cheniere's Sabine Pass and the Preeport LNG facility in Texas (p10). Now two European firms are looking to shake the deck a little, with joint plans to deploy small-scale LNG export projects in the US using US and Chinese technology.
