In First, BLM to Take Colorado Oil, NatGas Lease Sale Online

The Colorado office of the Bureau of Land Management will conduct a September oil and gas lease sale online for the first time in the agency's history. BLM is conducting the experiment after Congress, in a 2008 appropriations bill, directed the agency to conduct a pilot internet oil and natural gas lease auction as a one-time study on the feasibility of online auctioning.
