The shale gale is now being called the shale revolution by more people inside and outside the energy industry, but it would not be the topic of discussion if not for advances in technology. That was the point made by William Herbert Hunt, a consultant for Petro-Hunt, who was one of the first speakers at the 21st Century Energy Technology Conference & Trade Show, hosted by the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and held recently in Houston.
