摘要

In a letter to Mexico's Congress, Pemex said it has cut the number of oil and natural gas wells it drilled in the first quarter in large part due to growing gang activity. Pemex said it drilled 112 fewer wells in the first three months of the year, mainly stemming from slowdowns at its natural gas field in the Burgos Basin in northern Mexico. The basin, located near the US-Mexico border, has seen workers threatened by drug gangs who also stole gas condensates and equipment.
