NextDecade Joins Forces With Flex LNG on Floating Terminals

An oversupplied world LNG market is leading to intense competition among suppliers, marked by efforts to stoke demand with downstream investments in floating receiving terminals and even gas-fired power plants. Houston-based LNG pioneer Cheniere Energy, leader of the first wave of US LNG, has invested downstream in Chile, for example. Now, second-wave participant NextDecade is apparently eyeing a similar strategy.
