Two months after the US Department of Interior debuted regulations for hydraulic fracturing on federal and Indian lands, twin lawsuits aimed at stopping the rules from taking effect appear to be gathering steam. Last week, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert said his state would join a suit brought by the governors of Wyoming, North Dakota and Colorado in asking the court to throw out the rule(NGWMar.23'15).
