Formosa Group Mulls Site for New Ethane Plant in South Louisiana

The advantage of cheap, abundant natural gas has snagged another economic prize for the US Gulf Coast. Last week, Taiwan-based Formosa Petrochemical said it is considering building a $9.4 billion petrochemical complex between Baton Rouge and New Orleans in Louisiana to take advantage of that resource.
