摘要

Hydraulic fracturing could well become one of the most studied and argued about drilling techniques in the history of the E&P industry in the US. A new entry has been penned - this time by the director of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research at Wilkes University. A paper, Stream Vulnerability to Widespread and Emergent Stressors: A Focus on Unconventional Oil and Gas, was written by Kenneth M. Klemow and five colleagues. The research team focused on how vulnerable bodies of water in the six main shale plays in the US are, including the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania.
