That project took another step forward recently when Kentucky issued a draft air permit for it, allowing planning to continue.Kentucky NewGas is a project that combines the strengths of Peabody and ConocoPhillips to produce pipeline quality natural gas. The two are developing a mine-mouth project that would be capable of producing 60 billion to 70 billion cubic feet of pipeline quality natural gas each year.
