摘要

A Bentek Energy study shows that at the height of the Texas wildfires, demand for natural gas dropped by about 1 billion cubic feet per day. In Texas, a large number of wildfires have burned 120,000 acres and destroyed more than 1,700 homes and other buildings. Texas state officials said the majority of the fires, some burning for more than a week, are slowly being brought under control. So far, the wildfires have spared wells, drilling rigs and pipelines. A Bentek Energy study shows that Haynesville volumes from Texas remain stable but one of the wildfires' largest impacts has been in demand destruction. The Haynesville —which is found in both Texas and Louisiana— produces more than 5 billion cubic feet per dav.
