Precision Ups Capital Spending Plan, Cites Good '14 Rig Outlook

Citing a strong demand for its new-build Super Series drilling rigs, Precision Drilling last week upped its 2014 capital spending plan from C$634 million (US$578 million) to C$833 million (US$759 million). The additional capital expenditures consist of four new-build Super Triple rigs for the US to be delivered in the second half of 2014 and five new-build Super Triple rigs to be delivered in early 2015, said Precision Chief Executive Kevin Neveu.
