The need for additional gas supplies to refill depleted gas inventories may get a boost from an unexpected sector. According to the 2014 Nuclear Outlook from BNP Paribas and the senior advisory team from Industrial Info Resources (IIR), fewer nuclear outages are likely this year, which should result in less demand for natural gas to replace the off-line capacity.
