Report Suggests Fracking-Quake Link, Industry Lobby Not So Sure

A new study published in a scientific journal has upped the volume in the debate over whether hydraulic fracturing has been responsible for increased seismic activity. Published in the November issue of Seismological Research Letters, the study suggests fracking triggered hundreds of small quakes that are humans cannot detect in eastern Ohio last year.
