Doubts have crept into Gazprom’s proposed deal to sell a 10.52% stake in German natural gas supplier Verbundnetz Gas (VNG) to northwest German utility EWE (NC Apr.9’15). Despite EWE having said on Apr. 15 that the deal was signed, German weekly magazine Wirtschaftswoche reported on Apr. 17 that the Russian state-controlled gas goliath had changed its mind.
