CONFERENCE ON PRECISION ELECTROMAGNETIC MEASUREMENTS (CPEM)

On behalf of Eddy So, the present Chair, I wish to express the appreciation of the CPEM Executive Committee, to the NCSLI Board, and my own personal appreciation for your continuing support in the form of sponsorship of individual conferences, keeping our bank account, and allowing us to meet at your annual workshops. These have all been of great value to the Conference and you have our gratitude for them and the personal relationships behind them. The CPEM Executive Committee met Tuesday afternoon, August 19. The meeting was typical in that it consisted of reports from the Treasurer and each of the active past and pending conferences, and some discussion of other factors affecting the Conference. As Treasurer, I reported the current balance in the CPEM Reserve to be 140,567.94 dollars as of July 31, 2003. I thank Craig Gulka for keeping track of all of this and sending me the reports.
