Demand for shipments of major cargoes has decreased notably at the Black Seaports of Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania in late August. This is due to the fact thatmost importers from Turkey and the Middle East have not resumed purchases afterholidays in mid-August. The amount of available vessels is gradually growing in thespot market; many shipowners relocate their fleet from Azov and river ports. In aweek, shipping fees on main routes have dropped by $0.5-1/t. The price for a 5,000t steel product shipment from Odessa to ports of the Marmara Sea is now $20/t.
