Identification and Utilization of Nematode Resistant Donors for development of F_1Hybrids in Tomato

摘要

A study was undertaken to develop Fl hybrids int omato for resistance to root knot nematode (meloidogyne incognita) with higher yield. The present attempt has resulted in development of two high yielding F1 hybrids with high level of resistance to root knor nematode. They are Hisar N2 x CLN 2123 A and CLN 2123A * Hisar N2 which exhibited complee resistance to root knor nematode associated with higheryield.
