摘要

This paper deals with the simulation of transients and dynamic behavior of multi-machine power system. Transient stability studies have been performed for two different cases - considering field flux linkages as constant and, taking into account the effect of variation of field flux linkages A systematic approach for developing the system model considering various system parameters and operating conditions is presented. Network reduction technique and trapezoidal rule of integration are employed for computing faster solution of swing equation. Transient stability analysis based on first swing criteria has been adopted.
