Carbon capture and sequestration(CCS)presents risk.Although the risk of damage from properly designed and managed long-term sequestration is considered to be low,there is nonetheless some concern that through physical or chemical processes,there may be damage to aquifers or other resources over the very long period of time the carbon is to be sequestered.
