NAESB Electric Demand-Response Standards Break New Ground

On April 17, 2009, the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) a package of demand-response standards developed by NAESB's wholesale electric quadrant.The 40 definitions and 31 business practice standards address the measurement and verification (M&V) characteristic of demand-response products administered for application in the wholesale electricity market. NAESB's report on the standards said that they are
