Illinois bans ephedra sales

I late May, Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed the nation's first statewide ban on ep0hedra and urged other states and the federal government to adopt similar bans. The ban, which took effect when it was signed, had won unanimous support in both the Illionis House and Senate.
